Out with the old...

Welcome to 2012!
I am looking forward to all the amazing things that God has planned for my life!
There are a few things that I am looking forward to already. This year the husband and I plan on loosing weight, working on the house, becoming debt free and doing more family things together.

We both said that by my birthday in May we are hoping to be at our ideal weights. I would like to be at my pre-babies weight. That would be around 160 pounds, so in 5 months I need to loose about 60lbs. My husband would like to be about 190 so he would also like to loose around 60 pounds. I think this is a realistic goal for both of us. We have been working out and he even got me Zumba for the Wii for Christmas. It is so much fun and the kids even get involved too. I'm really hoping that both of us going for the same goal will help us get there!

After we got back from Disney, we got (much needed) new windows installed in the house. They are beautiful and give the house so much character. I can't wait to utilize them to their fullest this summer. With the new windows, now there are many other things we would like to do. We have an unfinished room that right now is just for storage but I'm really hoping that by the end of this year we will have transformed it into a mud/ craft room. I will be posting about all the transformation to our little house.

I am a true believer in Dave Ramsey. That guy knows what he is talking about! That's why this year, the husband and I are going to follow his plan to a T and become debt free! We are hoping that in a year we can be debt free, except our house and possibly one car. We also are planning another Disney vacation and we want to only pay cash for the whole trip. We are very excited about this and are going to do it even if it means giving up on some extras.

Last year I feel like we didn't do enough as a family. We welcomed our new little boy and I got to become a stay at home mom. Since I did that Larry worked extra (a lot of extra) hours to pick up what I wasn't bringing home any longer. Well to say the least he brought home double what I would of last year. So this year we want to enjoy our growing kids. We want to try and do a few weekend trips this year, and get out more during the summer as a family. We haven't made exact plans but we just know what we would like to do.

Well time for another day to start!
